Tartine et Chocolat, which means "Slice of Bread and Chocolate", is a light lemon citrusy scent that is never overpowering nor cloying, nor is it too sharp. To quote Goldilocks, it smells "just right". Tartine et Chocolat simply makes me feel and smell fresh and clean. The scent reminds me of my carefree days when I sported Denenes and Nenuco (very close resemblance to these two scents), perfect for summer because it doesn't smell too perfume-y nor becomes too heady later on in the day. My boyfriend describes it as a shower-fresh scent, although I think in a perfect world, he'd want me to wear Ralph each and every single day.
I like spritzing Tartine et Chocolat in the office, in the car, everywhere! And it instantly lifts my spirits and transports me to a happy place. I will forever adore this perfume :)
The only downside? Well, it is a baby scent so expect it not to last too long, its longevity will really depend on your skin chemistry and your environment. On a positive note, its lightness does give you an excuse to reapply several times a day; the scent is definitely very light and refreshing, it's the kind of scent that your special someone will only get a whiff of up close :)
Thank you to ARC Public Relations Inc. for giving me a chance to finally get my own bottle of Tartine et Chocolat via their FReSH gift certificate.

I thought it'd smell like bread and chocolate, that would be yummy~! To me, not to you, you weird chocolate-smell hater. HAHA!

I'm starting to *slowly* like chocolate scents, mostly due to the Leyende Mother Butter. Spraying on a chocolate scent may just be too much at this point xD
DeleteOooh, I love fresh scents :)
ReplyDeleteIt's really my current favorite scent! I hope to empty out the bottle this year. God knows I have so many perfumes that are only half-empty before I lose interest in them :p
DeleteIt seems adorable nga <3 I love how you described it -- I feel like it's just in front of me! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tara :D
Deletethe bottle looks really fresh! namiss ko yung nenuco days, pati angel's breath etc etc. hehehe. pero parang ang mahal ng isang bottle for that smell, tapos di rin masyadong nagtatagal, as you noted. thanks for sharing though
ReplyDeleteHi Jaja! It is rather expensive, I agree with you. If I use this up within a year, I'll probably purchase another full-sized bottle but maybe I'll go for the 50ml one so it's not too heavy :)
Delete:) :)
ReplyDeleteIf it smells like a slice of bread and chocolate, then I sooooooooooooo love it! :D
ReplyDeleteHi! It's more of a citrusy scent which reminds me of Denenes when I was younger :) It doesn't last that long though but with this heat, I really find it very refreshing and non headache-inducing :)
