It's been hard to take photos in the same location every week since I travel most of the time, but in this quick comparison you'll notice that for week 6 my skin is naturally lighter with an overall radiance. I would like to stress on the word "natural" because it didn't give me crazy white skin and I still look like, well, me ;)
During the time I was using this product, I broke out on my chin and jawline. Apparently the water in the office is laden with too much chlorine (I can smell it everytime I brush my teeth) and as such my skin reacted and I battled really bad pimples for nearly 2 weeks. Alex can attest to this as she visited me once and mentioned that I had unusually broken out on my jawline. Good thing my dermatologist prescribed some meds and the pimples were gone in a week! During this very stressful time, I still used the Neutrogena Fine Fairness BB Cream regularly which was great because it really helped lightened my spots:
Some spots are still there but are a lot less noticeable. For those who are still unsure about purchasing this, here's an extensive review:
What I like:
- has SPF 19+ PA+++
- contains stabilized Vitamin C, phyto-lily extract, vitamin B3
- lightweight and oil-free
- dries matte, does not aggravate or add to my already combination-oily skin
- very skin-friendly, I did not experience any allergies or pimples
- did not oxidize on me
- light-medium coverage (I set this with face powder)
- the shade is just right for my NC30 skin, gives me an instant brightening/lightening effect
- easy to apply, no drag
- no shimmer!
- comes in a hygienic pump packaging
What I don't like:
- the scent is pretty strong, but soon disappears after application
- comes in only one greyish shade
- wish it had a higher SPF rating for prolonged sun exposure
- wish the SPF rating was also indicated on the label
Pour conclure, out of all the BB Creams I've tried, the Neutrogena Fine Fairness BB Cream UV SPF 19+ PA+++ takes the cake! If you've been burned by other BB creams in the past, this one is worth a shot!
Here are my Neutrogena BB Cream winners for week 6 and the correct answer is: I am NOT wearing the BB Cream.
