VMV Hypoallergenics Subtle Shine Lipstick in Strawberry Fields

Late last year, I was finally able to get my hands on the elusive VMV Hypoallergenics Subtle Shine Lipstick in Strawberry Fields. I've been eyeing it for months and it was always sold out at the VMV boutiques I frequent. Good thing my ever reliable SA in SM Makati (Hi Anavic!) alerted me that there were a few pieces in stock, and they were also on sale, too. Yay!

Brushing up on the classics. This rich, satiny, silky-shine lipstick is timeless beauty of a higher skintelligence.
100% Dye-Free. 100% Free of Irritating Waxes (including Beeswax and its cross-reactors), Phthalates, Parabens + Preservatives.
100% Free of All-Types-Of-Fragrance.
With titanium dioxide + iron oxide pigments for additional sun protection.
With green tea for antioxidant benefits plus virgin coconut oil for intensive moisturization.
Besides preventing chapping + other irritations, all this safety prevents darkening of the lips and acne/rashes around the mouth and chin.
Price: Php 1,050
My skin has been spoiled by VMV over the years, literally. I've been using their lipsticks for over 2 years (I have 7 total!), and everytime I switch to another brand I easily get pimples along my lip line. My skin is pretty sensitive that way.

Anyway, Strawberry fields is called a "Subtle Shine Lipstick" but it's not shiny in anyway. It has more of a demi-matte finish (creamy and matte at the same time), and definitely isn't drying as the VMV Velvet Matte lipticks (check out my review of Copa here).

Strawberry Fields imparts a very natural rosy pink shade perfect for everyday. Please note that the degree of pink-ness might depend on how pigmented your lips are. But for reference, it looks like this on me:

The photo was taken during our Tagaytay outing, I'm with Krissy, Anne and Alex :)
Do you have any VMV favorites? I would love to read about them, please share them with me below. Happy weekend!
